June 16, 2020. We so enjoyed our last trip to Indian Lake, we decided to go again just two days later. We brought the pup so he could enjoy it too. Unfortunately, our hike was cut short by some leaves of three that we did not let be. In case you’re not familiar with the riddle, we ran through poison ivy. In case you’re not familiar with poison ivy, you’re not supposed to run through it. The good news—none of us had a reaction. Also in good news, despite it being a mere mile of hiking, we saw a whole family of adorable toads, a baby bird in the bird house, and a bald eagle soaring over the lake. We also learned a lot more about poison ivy, how to avoid it, and how to respond to it.
