July 24, 2020. Having traveled the Ice Age loop so quickly yesterday, we decided to return today to linger a bit longer. Near the end of our hike, we paused in the prairie to spend time with the clouds. Elijah and Penelope saw such different things in the clouds. As they shared their visions (a dragon, a mama and baby shark, etc.) it was powerful to watch them seek to understand the interpretation of the other. Neither judged the other for how they saw things differently. They merely sought to understand and shared their views respectfully. If we all took the time to listen and sought to understand each other in the ways Elijah and Penelope do, the world would be a much better place!
